💙Dr. Caitlyn Hauswirth-Varis, PT, DPT, OCS, CFTM, CF-L1 (She/her)

Following graduation, Cait completed a residency in orthopedics and pelvic health, earning her Certification in Functional Manual Therapy with honors in 2018. Since then has done mentorship and taken extensive course work in pelvic floor physical therapy, earned her board certification in orthopedics, and began mentoring other PTs in pelvic floor physical therapy. Clinically, she has extensive experience with pelvic floor dysfunctions, pregnancy, postpartum, sports injuries (running, field sports, CrossFit etc) and hypermobility spectrum disorders. Athletically, Cait considers herself still a 3 sport athlete - CrossFit, pole vaulting, and ultimate frisbee. She completed her L1 in 2020, and had been coaching CrossFit for 4 years before transitioning to exclusively coaching high school track and field.

Pelvic Health Coordinator -CT for Select Physical Therapy

Kayla is the Pelvic Health Coordinator for Select Physical Therapy in the state of Connecticut since 2022. Kayla graduated with Honors from the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at the University of Hartford in 2021 where she developed interest in pelvic health physical therapy and completed a 12 week clinical rotation in this specialty. She took postgraduate courses to become certified to work a variety of diagnoses and conditions for male and female genders, including: urinary incontinence and retention, constipation or bowel dysfunction, postpartum, pregnancy, pelvic pain, sacroiliac dysfunction, pudendal neuralgia, prolapse. Kayla has a special interest in the athletic population including postpartum returning to sport, pelvic pain with sports, and urinary and fecal symptoms during sport. Kayla combines her strong orthopedic skills with her passion of pelvic health to treat patients with an evidence-based approach
